One of the founders of the WOGG furniture company, Willi Glaeser, was able to make his dream of a house on the shore of Lake Neuchâtel come true. In conjunction with the architecture and design office Atelier Oï he developed an exceptional and colourful house right on the water.

Ruckstuhl was asked to furnish the building with its Calicut coir carpets in a special colour variant.

Since 2010 the chair manufacturer Interstuhl has carried on its research and development activities at the new Interstuhl Arena in Messtetten-Tieringen, Germany. The Silver collection developed by Hadi Teherani is on show here, displayed on a fitted carpet from Ruckstuhl. Ruckstuhl’s Flatwool stripe (col. 688) woollen quality is the ideal complement for the bold design of the office chair.

Wool carpets offer numerous advantages: they are made from a renewable resource, have a positive effect on the indoor environment, are easy to care for and have a long service life. The architectural firm KLP in Zurich uses the Rollerwool 700 new wool carpet in its own offices. Youngest of the Swatch Group’s prestige and luxury brands, the Léon Hatot jewelry and watchmaking brand is conceived exclusively for women. Ruckstuhl produced custom made carpets for their flagship stores in Paris and Tokyo, Ginza.

Yellow, orange and red are the colours that dominate the interior of the law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. The beige melange of the carpet blends with this tonality admirably. Almost 6000 square metres of the Flatwool quality was laid in the offices and conference rooms. The restrained structure and modest volume of this textile floor covering give the finishing touch to the dignified setting.

Ruckstuhl is pleased to announce its presence in the Chairholder Calender 2010 with exceptional pictures by the german photographer Rafael Krötz.

Atelier Oï thinks of the Ruckstuhl carpet binding collection Bordo in a different way. The play of different techniques, such as folding, weaving, overlapping and stiching forms the basis for a floor textiles installation that succeeds in being experimental and poetic at the same time.

The pharmaceuticals companies Hexal and Sandoz have chosen Pannello sospeso for their international head office in Holzkirchen near Munich, Germany. The panels have been installed in the company’s glass consultation cabins, providing both sound insulation and visual screening. Ruckstuhl was also able to meet the customer’s wishes for a special colour. The white felt of the panels fits in beautifully with the existing interior decor.

Priorat is a small wine area in Spain, which has been producing wine for the last eight centuries. Ferrer Bobet, one of the best wineries in Spain, introduced to this unique landscape outstanding architecture and Ruckstuhl carpets.

Beyond Nostalgia vignette with Ruckstuhl Feltro color

Unveiling the first of in a series of collaborative relationships with educational institutions, Vitra teamed with Parsons the New School for Design on a student design competition, which was the talk of ICFF when it debuted at the company’s New York showroom during the fair.

In Renens, an industrial suburb of the Swiss city of Lausanne, architect Bernard Tschumi has transformed a former stocking factory into a design academy. The new Ecole contonal d’art de Lausanne (ECAL), under the direction of Pierre Keller, is now a 14,000-square-meter (151,000-square-foot) high-tech learning workshop.

The swiss textiles company Jakob Schlaepfer – well known for its haute couture collections – puts a spell on the Ruckstuhl cafeteria with its all new wall covering collection. The installation featuring a Glinka Güel wall covering was initially launched during the 12th Designers’ Saturday in Langenthal (Switzerland).
