The carpet collection Stripes wins the golden Designpreis 2010. The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is the country‘s highest distinction in the field of design. It is known as the «Prize of Prizes».

Atelier Oï thinks of the Ruckstuhl carpet binding collection Bordo in a different way. The play of different techniques, such as folding, weaving, overlapping and stiching forms the basis for a floor textiles installation that succeeds in being experimental and poetic at the same time.

Art Chicago, the international fair of contemporary and modern art, sets the stage for excellence with a Buckminster Fuller, 24’ original Fly’s Eye dome erected in The Merchandise Mart’s grand South Lobby. The installation is sponsored by Vitra in cooperation with Artemide and Ruckstuhl.

Beeing at the epicenter of this year’s fashion week of furniture was an important step for Ruckstuhl. The presence on the fairground in hall 12 of Cosmit was the best possible stage to introduce our latest carpets Crespo Basic, Crespo Custom and Souk to the public.
We also  extended our successful acoustic panelling system Pannello, designed by Matteo Thun, with the addition of two new elements.
The optimistic mood at the fair and the great feedback makes us confident for the upcoming events.
